The FAB Method
Boxing first.
Talk second.
The FAB Method uses non-contact boxing to regulate the body first, then guided reflection to make sense of what sits underneath. It runs as a four week programme and shapes everything we do in recovery, personal development, emotional regulation and wellbeing.
01
Movement reduces pressure first.
Every session opens with non-contact boxing. Bag work, pads and footwork bring the body down out of stress.
02
Reflection comes second.
When people are calmer and less guarded, we move into guided reflection using real, everyday situations.
03
When the body feels safer, honest conversation becomes easier.
The FAB 1 to 10 tool and the FAB Workbook give people language for what is going on before it boils over.
How It Works

The Workbook
Inside the FAB Workbook
The workbook uses the Seven Deadly Sins as recognisable human patterns, not as religious judgement.
These patterns exist in all of us and help us understand what may be happening underneath our emotions, reactions and choices.
Pride
The mask we wear when asking for help or admitting we are struggling feels unsafe.
Envy
The pain of comparison and the belief that somebody else's life, success or approval would make us feel complete.
Wrath
The anger that often protects deeper feelings such as fear, shame, rejection or not feeling good enough.
Sloth
Not laziness, but avoidance, shutdown and the feeling of being unable to face what is in front of us.
Greed
The constant need for more success, attention, money or dopamine because the present moment never feels enough.
Gluttony
Using food, alcohol, drugs, gambling, scrolling or other behaviours to escape, numb or change how we feel.
Lust
Chasing validation, attention, relationships or intensity to feel wanted, connected or worthy.
The Four Weeks
What the four week journey looks like
Week 1
Regulate First · Pride and Envy
Learn the FAB 1 to 10 system and use boxing to regulate the body. Explore the masks we wear, the pressure to appear strong and the pain created by comparison.
Week 2
What Sits Underneath · Wrath and Sloth
Look beyond anger, avoidance and shutdown. Begin recognising the fear, shame, hurt or overwhelm that may be driving the reaction.
Week 3
Chasing Relief · Greed, Gluttony and Lust
Explore the different ways we chase dopamine, escape discomfort or seek validation. Understand what the behaviour gives us in the moment and what we may truly be looking for underneath it.
Week 4
The Truth and the Next Round
Bring all seven patterns together using the journey from situation to emotion, reaction and truth. Create a personal plan for recognising pressure earlier, regulating safely and responding differently the next time.
FAB is not about judging who you were or changing who you are. It is about understanding yourself, recognising what no longer serves you and choosing what happens next.
