Who we are
FABBOXING LIMITED (trading as FAB Boxing) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
- Registered office: 8 Kilmore Road, Artane, Dublin
- Company registration (CRO): 798007
- VAT number: 04559693RH
- Privacy contact: Aaron@fabboxing.com
Information we collect
Contact and enquiry information. When you use an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, organisation and the message you write.
Booking information. The class or session you choose and the page you came from.
Purchase and subscription information. Your name, email address, phone number if you give it at checkout, the product bought, the amount, currency, payment status, references from our payment provider, and for memberships the subscription status and billing period. We never see or store your card details.
Participant consent records. When you buy a public class we record your name, email, date of birth, your age at the time of acceptance, and which version of the Terms, Participant Waiver and Privacy Policy you accepted, with timestamps.
Analytics information. If you accept analytics cookies we collect standard Google Analytics 4 measurement data about pages viewed and key actions. Purchase measurement uses an opaque, irreversible reference rather than any payment identifier, and we do not send names, emails, phone numbers or payment identifiers to analytics.
Administrator accounts. FAB Boxing staff accounts used to sign in to the private admin area hold an email address and authentication data.
We keep health information to a minimum. We do not routinely collect detailed addiction histories, diagnoses or medical records. At checkout you confirm an acknowledgement about disclosing anything that affects safe participation; we do not ask you to describe it on the website.
Why we use it, and our lawful bases
- To answer enquiries and administer FAB Boxing services. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To take payment and deliver the class, programme or membership you bought. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep a record of the Terms and Participant Waiver you accepted and to run sessions safely. Lawful basis: legal obligation and our legitimate interests in participant safety and being able to evidence consent.
- To meet accounting, tax, insurance, safeguarding and other legal requirements. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
- To measure how the website is used. Lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings.
Data minimisation
We ask for the least information needed for each purpose. Public checkout collects a name, email, date of birth and the required acknowledgements. We do not add optional profiling fields, and we do not require marketing consent because we are not currently running marketing consent collection.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing for classes and memberships. Stripe handles your card details directly as its own controller for payment and fraud-prevention purposes.
- Google Analytics 4 — website measurement, only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Lovable — website hosting, database, server functions and transactional email notifications to FAB Boxing.
We do not sell personal information. We do not routinely share identifiable participant information with partner organisations. Where we report on programmes, we use anonymous or aggregated information wherever possible, unless a different lawful arrangement applies and has been agreed. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect someone from harm, including safeguarding referrals.
International processing
Some of our providers process information outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep information
Contact and enquiry information is normally retained for 12 months after the last interaction, unless longer retention is required for legal, accounting, safeguarding, contractual or other lawful reasons.
Other categories are kept for as long as the relevant obligation requires. Payment, invoicing and accounting records are retained for the statutory accounting and tax periods. Participant consent and waiver records, and safeguarding records, are retained for as long as necessary for insurance, legal-claim and safeguarding purposes. These records are not deleted after 12 months.
Security
Access to enquiry, purchase, subscription and consent records is restricted to authorised FAB Boxing administrators through an authenticated admin area. Records are stored in a managed database with access controls, and consent records are only written by our server, never from a browser.
Your rights
Under Irish and EU data protection law you have the right to access your information, to have inaccurate information corrected, to erasure in certain circumstances, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, email Aaron@fabboxing.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission, 21 Fitzwilliam Square South, Dublin 2, D02 RD28 (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies
Our use of cookies and local storage, including how to change your choice, is set out in the Cookie Policy.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The version number above tells you which wording is currently published.
